Saturday June 21st from 2:00 - 4:30
Come
and celebrate the Summer Solstice with 108 sun salutations. A summer
Yoga Mala is a celebration of manifestation, growth, life, and gratitude.
The sun is closer, and we have an opportunity to get closer to ourselves
and our innate ability to feel gratitude in each moment every day.
Yoga Mala represents the 108 mala beads (prayer beads) used in Yogic
meditation. In Hindu and Buddhist belief systems the number 108 is
sacred. We will do four rounds of 27 sun salutations. Each round takes
about 15 to 20 minutes, and will be followed with a short break for
Savasana, Meditation, or Asana. We'll talk about possible modifications
at the beginning of the workshop. Some people will choose to rest
during some of the sun salutations, and this, of course, is OK.
Round One - Dedications
towards personal transformation and self realization. This round is
a prayer for healing, compassion, and harmony in your own life.

Round Two - Dedications
for family, friends, and "precious jewels" (anyone you have
unresolved conflicts with).
Round Three - Dedications
for the world. A prayer for transforming the problems that face our
planet into solutions. This is a very powerful round as we realize
our own actions are part of the solution.
Round Four - Dedications
to the Source. A round of gratitude and connectedness with the Divinity
dwelling within.

Extended Savasana - Includes short neck massage, guided
awareness towards relaxation, silence, and song.
Cost is $25 for the workshop. We will also be accepting
donations for The Orange County SPCA if you are interested in giving
a little extra :)
