Christina Craven
My entire life I have always been passionate about movement. When I was younger I loved tumbling, cartwheels, flipping over the couch, cheerleading, and dance. I took several yoga classes while studying dance. After the classes were over, I was in awe of the peace and space I sensed in my body and mind.

During yoga class, I was still moving, stretching, and feeling, but it encouraged me to look beyond the body. I found the focus in yoga was on the breath, others, and the inner self. I felt surrounded by compassion, kindness, and love. I continued on a yoga journey, and have now been practicing yoga for over ten years. Through the years, I have explored a variety of yoga styles including Anusara, Ashtanga, Jivamukti, Kundalini, Vinyasa and Yin.

I have completed several teacher trainings with Yoga Fit, a yoga apprenticeship training with Bill Blask, and an Ashtanga yoga workshop with Michael Hamilton. I have taught classes in wellness centers, dance studios and at Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival. I moved to Chapel Hill, NC in January 2009. I love it here!! The yoga community here is fantastic. I look forward to continuing my yoga journey in the Carrboro/Chapel Hill area
