Cheryl
Diegel says that when she found yoga, her life became complete.
Her creative nature has led her in many interesting directions over
the
years and she feels strongly it was all just preparation for the amazing
journey she currently enjoys. "I feel as though I've gotten a
lot of my
life's meanderings out-of-the-way so that now I can focus on my body,
my mind and my spirit and I can't wait to share this wonderful experience
with my students".

She began her studies in Chapel Hill with Tracy Bogart and Lindsey
Rosen. Cheryl was certified to teach at the White Lotus Foundation
with Ganga White and Tracey Rich, and has participated in many workshops
with such nationally known instructors as Donna Farhi, Erich Schiffmann,
Shiva Rea and Aadil Palkhivala. She currently has completed a teacher
training with David Beadle and his wife, Lisa Clark, focused on the
Body-Mind Centering work of Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen.
Cheryl currently teaches Yoga 101, a class for beginning yogis or
somewhat
rusty ones and a S-t-r-e-t-c-h class for all levels that focuses on
opening and releasing the body as a compliment to any other type of
yoga
and/or life's everyday stressful challenges. "I believe in a
strong
connection between our body, our mind, our emotions and our spirit.
It is
my desire to lead my students to their own joyful connection of mind,
body
and spirit through movement and pranyama (breath)".
