Release and Restore
This class is designed to reduce tension caused by everyday stress. We will begin by stretching the large postural muscles of the body and then begin to move into gentle, classic yoga postures. The last 30-40 minutes of the class will be spent in restorative postures. Restorative yoga uses blankets, bolsters, straps, and blocks to totally support the body, allowing the muscles to fully relax, the brain to quiet, and the spirit to experience peace and restoration.
Drop-in class is Wednesdays 7:15 pm and Fridays 4:00pm weekly. Come on in and try it out!

Restorative Yoga Workshops

New monthly workshop!
Restorative Yoga Workshops will be offered on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 2:00-4:00 . Restorative yoga allows you to practice yoga supported by props (blankets, bolsters, blocks, etc). Practicing in this manner allows you to alternately stimulate and relax the body, as you move toward balance. Although the practice of restorative yoga is especially beneficial to those who are fatigued from daily activities or those recovering from illness or injury, many of us simply love restorative yoga as a means to relax and reduce stress in our lives. $25 five person minimum.
