Flowing with Alignment
This class will encourage each individual to explore the power of yoga when proper alignment, fullness of heart, the continuum of breath, and the flow of grace come together in a dynamic practice. We will explore the vast boundaries of our bodies and their amazing capacity to transform. These Hatha yoga classes are highly influenced by Anusara yoga, a sophisticated yet simple system that blends the Universal Principles of Alignment (TM) with Tantric philosophy. The 5 Principle of Alignment are described in terms of naturally occurring loops and spirals of energy throughout the body. Each class will emphasize these principles in order to create a greater experience of boundless freedom and joy . John Friend, the founder of Anusara Yoga, emphasizes seeing the intrinsic goodness in all people and all things, so naturally these classes follow suit. Every aspect of each individual from limitations, differences, to talents, are not only welcomed, but honored and celebrated as our own unique gateways to transformation. This heart oriented style of Hatha Yoga aims to give each individual the opportunity to heal the physical and energetic body while cultivating more freedom in the heart and the consciences. Through the fluidity of breath, proper biomechanical alignment, celebration of the heart, flowing postures, and of course fun, these classes should leave each student feeling peaceful empowered and connected to the universal flow of grace.

Flowing with Alignment: All Levels : This class is for students who
are new to yoga this style of yoga or those wanting a solid sustainable practice. We
will explore a vast array of postures using the 5 principles of
alignment to create freedom and opening in the entire being. This
class is a great foundation that will strengthen your understanding of
proper alignment, enhance your practice, and and open your heart to
vast potential of yoga.We will also challenge ourselves every week with a variety of standing postures,
hand balances, inversions and backbends.  No experience needed...all body's are
welcome to come and play!

Flowing with Alignment: Level 1-2:
If you feel ready to deepen your
your practice this class is for you. Through playful sequencing we
will refine postures by developing a greater understanding and
awareness of the Universal principles of alignment, loops, and
spirals. We will delve into deeper twist, standing postures and hand
balances. We will also work with inversions and backbends on a
regular basis. This class is for intermediate students who have
practiced at least one year of Hatha Yoga. Coming soon!

Flowing with Alignment: Level 2 Practice:
This class is a bit less
formal than other classes because I will practicing along with the
rest of the class. There is a bit less instruction in this class yet
it is still a lot of fun and challenging as well. We will do a
regular playful practice together exploring fun variations of postures
while getting to know each other as a community. This class is not
appropriate for people with physical injuries or special needs. It is
suggested that you have practiced Hatha Yoga for at least one year. Coming soon!
