EmbodiYogaT is an open, non-formulaic approach to Hatha Yoga for those wanting to deepen their understanding and experience of the conscious body. We work from a breath centered, alignment based style of yoga. Breathing practices, philosophy and chanting are a part of the class. The Monday class is a Vinyasa style class in which we visit all types of postures including grounding seated postures and standing postures, as well as balancing postures, inversions and backbends. The Saturday class is a slower, gentler approach featuring less challenging postures but with an opportunity to move deeply into the work as well.
EmbodiYogaT is a practice which allows the practitioner the freedom to explore the whole body and express our natural flow of energy by moving organically into deeper layers of kinesthetic awareness. This awareness of our multi-body systems brings us closer to wholeness in our practice and in our lives. It is challenging, rewarding and freeing.

8:45 Morning Meditation
The meditation period is designed to be a short quiet time prior to the beginning of class. It will begin with a short reading and then time to center. For those who are new to meditation I may offer some guidance into the practice. I will expand the time allotted as the group grows, so watch the website schedule for changes.
