A challenging, inspiring, and soul stirring class that expands on
the Flow classes
you've already come to love at CYCo. Each class is suffused with Yoga
philosophy, breath awareness, and attention to alignment. The purpose
of Advanced Flow is to help students cultivate a stronger connection
to the self by practicing gratitude, compassion, and acceptance in
the midst of a challenging Flow of movement. Practicing Yoga is a
metaphor for living your life!
The flow will move from one pose to the next with attention to sun
salutations; balances; hip, shoulder, & heart openers; and back
bends. Each class will incorporate instruction on advanced variations
inside of the flow for students who wish to learn and practice this
way.
Deep attention to personal edges and boundaries will be gently woven
throughout the class in order to promote a safe environment. Each
student is encouraged to be exactly where they are.
We will also practice inversions, forward bends, and arm balances.
It is recommended you have a headstand practice on or off the wall
when attending this class
